Kagoshima station

The Kagoshima 6-m antenna was built in 1970, as the first Japanese millimeter-wave telescope at Tokyo Astronomical Observatory, the precursor of NAOJ. Since the antenna was moved to Kinkowan Park at Kagoshima in 1993, it has been operated as one of VLBI station. The antenna is also used for a single-dish telescope today.
