3 Registration
- The registration fee is US$500, including meals, spa, and accommodation.
- Due to the recent Japanese Yen (JP\)/US$ exchange rate, the registration fee is reduced from $500 to $450 this year. (* Please note that this discount is temporary and not permanent, especially if you plan to attend the summer school in the next year or later.)
- *** IMPORTANT ***
ONLY US$ 450 or JP\ 70000 in CASH is accepted. No RMB, No KRW. Neither credit card nor digital currency (such as AliPay, KakaoPay ...). If you do not bring the necessary amount of cash in US$ or JP\, you need to return to the Shinrin-kouen station to get a cash from your credit card (perhaps, I am not sure about ATM there. Or, possibly you must return to the airport for the currency exchange.)
4 Room
- Two or three students share one room.
- Those who requested an extended stay at Hotel Heritage on August 9-10 shall pay to the hotel separately from the registration fee.
5 In addition to the lectures, group discussions by students occur during summer school. All students are divided into 4 groups to discuss a specific topic related to the summer school theme. On August 9, each group will make a 20-minute presentation for all participants.
6 Participants in need of special care
Participants who require special consideration, including physical or mental disabilities, food preference, and gender identification, are advised to contact LOC (Prof. Noriyuki Namiki: nori.namiki@nao.ac.jp) after enrollment. Personal information is not opened without your consent.
